Personal Injury Protection (PIP) under Fla. Stat. § 627.736 requires that an injured party receive initial medical services within 14 days of the crash to access PIP medical benefits. An Emergency Medical Condition (EMC) determination by a qualifying provider — a medical doctor (MD), doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), physician assistant (PA), advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), or dentist — is required to unlock the full $10,000 PIP medical benefit. Without an EMC determination, PIP medical benefits are capped at $2,500. Primary & Urgent Care Centers of Palm Beach County provide both the 14-day initial visit and the EMC certification in a single same-day appointment when clinically appropriate. ## Patient Resources - [Book an Appointment](https://primaryuc.com/appointment) - [Pricing](https://primaryuc.com/pricing) - [Blog](https://primaryuc.com/blog) - [For Attorneys](https://primaryuc.com/lawyers) ## Contact - Phone: 561-355-2651 (all locations) - Hours: Walk-ins welcome during regular hours, including weekend hours — call ahead for current hours at each location.
